The Serbian team, led well by Dusan Tadic as captain, has earned a spot in the upcoming FIFA World Cup matches in Qatar. They have a strong roster of players.

Serbia, which is ranked 25th in the FIFA ranking list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, is predicted to win the championship based on the results of the previous matches.

The roster for Serbia’s FIFA World Cup 2022 team is set to be announced in October, and the results of the September Countries Association matches hint at who might be traveling.

Dragan Stojkovic has selected this team for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, albeit there may be some alterations to the final roster.

Sergej Milinkovi-Savi, Filip Kosti, and Duan Tadi are the three Serbian footballers with the highest FIFA ratings.

FIFA has determined that the Football Association of Serbia is the direct successor to both SFR Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro, and as such, is the legal owner of all the records of the former countries.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup match between Brazil and Serbia will take place on November 25.

Player to watch

Sergej Milinković-Savić, on March 9, 2014, he scored his first goal in a 1-1 away tie with Spartak Subotica. Milinkovi-Savi played in 13 league games overall and scored three goals in 2013–14. Additionally, in the club’s centenary year of 2013, he assisted Vojvodina in winning the Serbian Cup.

On August 2, 2014, he made his professional debut for the team in a 1-1 league tie at home against Cercle Brugge. On January 18, 2015, Milinkovi-Savi scored his first goal for Genk in a 1-1 away league draw with Lokeren. During the 2014–15 season, he made 24 appearances and totaled five league goals.

On October 30, 2017, it was revealed that Serbia interim manager Mladen Krstaji had selected Milinkovi-Savi for a friendly against South Korea and China.

He was chosen to participate in all three of Serbia’s group stage matches for the 2018 World Cup in June 2018.

On October 8, 2020, Milinkovi-Savi scored his first two goals for his country in a 2-1 victory over Norway in the semifinals of the Euro 2020 qualification play-off.
