Didier Deschamps, the manager of France, has urged Christophe Galtier, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, to rest forward Kylian Mbappe.
Prior to his team’s Sunday Nations League match against Denmark, France’s manager spoke about Mbappe and urged PSG to restrict his playing time. Before joining the France team, Mbappe had made 10 appearances for PSG this season across all competitions.
Mbappe is a key player for France, and the chances of Les Bleus winning the World Cup will depend on how well he performs there. Deschamps understands that clubs have a demanding schedule of games to play before the championship begins in November and will want his striker to be at the top of his game for the competition in Qatar. PSG still has 11 Ligue 1 games to play before the World Cup break.
