On the ninth matchday of the 2019–20 Bundesliga season, Davies made his first Bundesliga start for Bayern, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 home victory over Union Berlin.

On November 6, 2019, he started his debut UEFA Champions League match in a 2-0 win over Olympiacos.
